*Our systems have been demonstrated to remove more than 99.9999% of bacteria and more than 99.99% of viruses at flow rates up to 2,650L (700 gal.) per hour, from visually clean water at 25°C (77°F) under circumstances similar to the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Guide Standard and Protocol for Testing Microbiological Water Purifiers. The test was a proxy for EPA compliance; however, the system has not yet undergone EPA certification.

*UVX™ requires additional filters to remove organic solvents, heavy metals, pesticides and other impurities in the water. Increased total dissolved solids, total organic carbon and turbidity along with decreased temperatures will reduce the effectiveness of UVX™.
